| Come and try Savate with our Five-Session cardIf you would like to start learning Savate with us, you can jump straight into our classes by taking a five-session trial. You don't have to have any experience. There are always plenty of new people in the class, so have no fear; be bold and just come along. The five-session trial costs just £30
We train on Thursday nights from 7:35pm at Soho Gym, Waterloo (Brad Street, SE1) The card is flexible so you do not have to take the classes consecutively - there is no time limit either. If you decide to keep training, by the end of the fifth week you will need to take membership of the Great Britain Savate Federation. This only costs £16 per year and covers your insurance too. (A membership form can de downloaded here) Read about our classes, use the links on the left or, if you are convinced already, buy a card now for just £30 (plus £1.26 online handling fee):
After you have paid, I will send an email giving all the details you need before starting (please give me a call if you do not receive such an email within a day or so). The card will be waiting for you when you come along and train. Thank you and congratulations - I look forward to training with you soon. James Southwood

"The credit of French Boxing is that it requires a long training period which raises the overall level of strength, helps develop a taste for effort and risk, and teaches how to cope. Little by little one learns how to transform natural violence into disciplined strength and discovers exercise through the use of natural weapons where invention prevails over sheer strength, where one can improvise a strategy of moves, feints or strikes. One learns self-control, loyalty and brotherhood." |
