Gradings and Training Days These are a regular feature of the Savate calendar. A full day's training is usually accompanied by expositions of the related disciplines (Canne de Combat and Savate Defence) and grading opportunities for several technical levels. The meetings also afford the chance to train and spar with members of other clubs and under other instructors.

UK Seminars Top Savate trainers and current World or French Champions are often invited to the UK to give seminars and to share their knowledge. It is very instructive to attend these, especially when the remarkable Gilles Le Diugou is the trainer.

International Seminars The majority of such events are held in France (see the 'Stages' page of the FIS website) but are also available in some other countries. Stages can take many forms, from technical instruction and preparation for competition to arbitration and training for instructors.
