GBSF Assaut League 2006 - Event 3

Godalming, Sunday 24th September

The third event of the year, coming just one week after the team's return from the Championnat du Monde in Paris, provided another day of great fights (the standard improves with each meeting) and successfully turned out the first League champions of the year. 

The London team fared as follows:

Lizzy F 76kg + First place, 10 points Confirmed Champion! Won her bout with a high degree of technical control.
Dom M 60-65kg First place, 10 points Fought World University champ and above his weight against World Silver medallist.
James M 76-82kg First place, 10 points Confirmed Champion! Won his official bout, plus one friendly, and split the decision in a demo with World University champion. 
 

Congratulations to all other fighters and champions from the UK clubs and for the team from Lille for once again providing excellent opposition.
