Video clips

Video footage is the best way to glean an impression of the character of a martial art, short of being there yourself.

Savate is a visual art. The strikes and movements have an elegance that can be appreciated at a distance, not just in participation, so video suits it well.

Studying video can also complement real training. It provides the opportunity to judge movement in detail and extract useful technical knowledge, ideas and inspiration.


First, a set of video clips that have been arranged into a series of training tips for Savate fighters. Each one is short but contains a manoeuvre or strike that is worth studying.
